Wow...I thought I contemplated...Fascinating stuff. I like the way you think. Really just ran across your site as I was looking for ways to explain to my non-Orthodox friend why he couldn't receive communion and why the differences in how we worship matters. I need more time to read your thoughts; but what I have read I found enlightening! It's nice to know you have given such thought to matters of such importance!

Peace and Grace to you, Kelly (Bloomington, IN)

Didn't quite understand the URL or location thing or even the pasting of the word radiant?

A Prayer to Receive God’s Riches Blessing
“Let This Be Your Prayer for 2008”

God I come asking in Jesus’ name, with all my heart, “That You Lord Jesus will teach me how to tap into God’s Richest Blessings. Encourage me to always keep my focus on Jesus; to meditate upon Your Word daily; allow Your Word to dwell within me richly; and to be guided by Your Holy Spirit.

Teach me how to listen for Your voice and promptly obey. Make me want and desire the best that God has to offer me and not settle for less. Teach me how to get my priorities in order. Make me keep my priorities right. Teach me how to die to self “daily” and walk in the "Spirit of God” and not the flesh. So that I may be blessed to walk and to continue to walk in my Christ Ordained Destiny. I surrender my life to You Lord Jesus. Take my life and use it as an instrument for Your glory.

I need to experience a new intimacy with You. Teach me how to schedule quite, quality time alone with You and allow nothing to interrupt our private time together. Teach me how to talk to You. Teach me how to be real with You because You have been nothing less than Real with me.

Move out anything and everything in my life that You don’t want in my life. Every spirit that is not of You Lord Jesus please deliver me from it. Heal and make me whole. You said in Your Word, “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the character of his friend.” Surround me with men and women of God who will sharpen me; want the best for me; bring out the best in me; and encourage me to be the best for You. And everything that I have prayed that You would do for me, please do the same for all those that I love and the one who wrote this prayer. Thank You Lord. Thank You Jesus for all You have done and all You are about to do in my life. Amen, So Be It, and It is So!!!

Always Remember, Never Forget, Jesus Loves You,

You have a very nice website. I can see why you got one of Fun Tyme Entertainment Awards. I'm a winner of one also. If you haven't done so in your internet travels, please consider this message as an open invitation to visit my website. Take care.

Just browsing around tonight for Eastern Orthodox fiction and stumbled upon your site. After enjoying your wit and creativity for a little while, I was delighted to find that you, too, are a Wheaton grad who loves great literature and converted to Orthodoxy. I had Dr. McClatchy for a number of classes and hopefully he was still a legend in your time there. Keep up the wonderful presence on the web.

Jonathan,
Thank you for some of the more thoughtful and insightful writing on faith that I have seen on the internet. I am a Quaker, and particularly appreciated your essay "Blessed are the Peacemakers." Please keep thinking and writing. Only one thing I feel differently about: to me, God is life, life is Yin and Yang in balance, so therefore, God is both Yin and Yang, not neutralized, but containing both forces, as white light contains all the colors of a rainbow. We men and women are the prisms who refract this complete light, separating it into our own true colors, as long as we remain true in faith.
